Here is my nearly-life-size baby puppet for my film, postpartum.  I constructed this puppet starting with a wire-armature, layering of soft foam, foam wrap, continuing to latex paint, and other detailing materials, such as glass and clay for the eyes.  The completed puppet stands at about 21 inches tall.

For my eduactional animation, Bee a Team, I constructed three bee puppets: the queen, worker, and baby bee.  With felted wool roving, wire, and handmade paper for the wings, I made the basic structure for each.  In addition, I felt that the queen and worker bees needed fun hats, made of wire mesh, foam wrap, latex paint, and beads.

In developing the design, I chose these materials because they would be visually accessible for the audience.
